Get Yo Groove On...

So 8 weeks ago I had hernia surgery (again) and its not an easy recovery... You can't work out for 6/8 weeks and lifting anything heavy is a BIG no, no! With having four kids one of them was bound to mess my body up LOL. Moving forward, trying to get back into the motivation of working out again and then worrying if I am going to mess anything up is STRESSFUL. Of course after the New Year you want to get a jump start and get yo groove back (well for me at least). Problem was Monday morning I woke up sick and honestly it wasn't a surprise. The Holidays and then the New Years parties and whatever else life throws at you was happening. I also will admit I nursed my surgery recovery to 8 weeks and it KILLED me. I mean having to do this surgery twice was not my ideal situation. Today was the first day I went back to yoga and man did that feel GOOD!!! I'm beyond excited to take some time for ME and just zone the "F" out! It also makes a world of difference when the teacher is so in tune with you and motivates you like no other!!! I have to give a HUGE thank you to The Yoga Joint for having such amazing teachers and with 3 locations there is no excuses not to try one of them out (if you are in the areas of course). However if you ever visit Florida and are next to any of locations I say hit it!
